Weaving” Dreams at Qingshanhu, Embarking on a New “Knit” Journey – Trade Matchmaking Event for “Qingshanhu Textile” Successfully Held in 138th Canton Fair

Canton Fair, the world’s biggest trade event with a total exhibition scale of 1.55 million square meters held twice a year, celebrates its 138th session this month. The Fair provides global buyers with a one-stop trading platform featuring a wide variety of exhibits, high-quality products at competitive prices, and convenient, efficient, and reliable services.

5175 companies come to the textiles and fashion sector of the 138th Canton Fair in Phase 3 from October 31 to November 4, displaying men’s and women’s clothing,  Kids’ wear, Underwear, Sports and casual wear, Furs, leather, down & related products, Fashion accessories and fittings, Textile raw materials & fabrics.

A Trade Matchmaking Event for “Qingshanhu Textile” was successfully convened on October 31 in Meeting Room Eight of the Canton Fair Complex.

Mr. An Baojun, Deputy Mayor of Nanchang, emphasised in his address that Qingshanhu District is the largest base for knitwear and apparel in Jiangxi Province and a renowned hub for knitted garments in China, possessing a solid industrial foundation and promising development prospects.

Qingshanhu District is emphasising on creative design, intelligent manufacturing, and flexible customization, striving to build a comprehensive, robust, and advanced industrial chain and cultivate a modern textile industry.

The event brought together over 70 overseas buyers from the United States, Peru, Russia, Turkey, India, Iran, Spain, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia, alongside representatives from more than 20 knitwear enterprises based in Qingshanhu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Preliminary statistics indicated that the event generated approximately 11 million USD in intended orders.
