woolmark-learning-centerOn the Woolmark Learning Centre, the Woolmark Company has introduced the first online sustainability education course, allowing open access to substantial knowledge on wool, sustainable development, and circular design. The self-paced Sustainability and Wool course was created by industry professionals to help designers, marketers, manufacturers, tertiary students, and tutors support the industry’s shift to less damaging product and business models using wool.

The online course introduces concepts, frameworks, and tactics for promoting sustainable and restorative business practices in the textile sector. The course covers the theory and practice of circular design, regenerative agriculture, and manufacturing techniques with low environmental effect within the wool supply chain, with an emphasis on the wool fiber and wool industry.

Learners will examine opportunities and solutions for developing goods with a more positive legacy, as well as how designers and businesses can assist customers in reducing their environmental and social effects, throughout the course.
