According to Youngone Group, Sung received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Global Textile Leadership at the 2026 Telangana Textile Dialogue held in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The award is presented to entrepreneurs and industry leaders who have made sustained contributions to the advancement of the global textile and fashion sector. Evaluation criteria include long-term impact in areas such as production innovation, global supply chain establishment and the development of sustainable industrial ecosystems.

Sung was recognized for building an extensive international manufacturing network centered on key production bases in Bangladesh, Vietnam and India, while strengthening Youngone’s competitiveness in functional apparel and sportswear.

Industry observers say the award reflects not only Sung’s business leadership but also Youngone’s role in shaping modern textile manufacturing through globalized production and long-term investment in emerging markets.

Youngone has continued to expand its footprint in India as part of its broader production strategy. The company completed a factory in Warangal, Telangana, in 2023 and began product manufacturing there in 2025, further reinforcing its manufacturing base in South Asia.

In remarks released by the company, Sung said the recognition was the result of the collective efforts of employees and partners who had worked together over many years. He added that Youngone would continue to play a responsible role in promoting the sustainable development and manufacturing competitiveness of the global textile industry.

The award is also seen as a sign of Youngone’s growing standing in the international textile sector at a time when supply chain resilience, cost competitiveness and sustainability are becoming increasingly important in the apparel business.
