Youngone Corporation (111770) said on the 6th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sam Sung Machinery, a domestic circular knitting machine manufacturer, to deploy 180 Korean-made circular knitting machines at its global production bases in Uzbekistan, India, and Kenya over the next two years. The total contract is worth approximately 10 billion won.
Circular knitting machines are core equipment used to produce knit fabrics for T-shirts, sportswear, and other apparel. They continuously knit yarn in a cylindrical form, delivering high productivity and uniform quality. Youngone plans to install the circular knitting machines supplied by Sam Sung Machinery at its global production bases in stages, building a stable equipment supply system and enhancing production efficiency and quality competitiveness.
Youngone currently produces apparel and gear for global outdoor brands in Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan, and operates a vertically integrated production system that produces its own fabrics and raw materials.
