22nd Textech Bangladesh, 20th DIFS & 42nd Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2023 held with bigger explore

One of the biggest exhibitions for the Textile and Garment Industry of Bangladesh kicked off on 13th September 2023 at the New Expo Center in Purbachal – Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center.

An Inauguration Ceremony was held to inaugurate CEMS-Global USA’s Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions – 22nd Textech Bangladesh 2023 International Expo, 20th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2023 – DIFS (Summer Edition) and 42nd Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2023 International Expo.

Mr. Golam Dastagir Gazi, Birprotik, MP, Ministry of Textiles & Jute Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of “CEMS Global,” presided over the ceremony.

Special Guests Mr. A.H.M. Ahsan, Vice Chairman, Export Promotion Bureau; Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman, DG (Additional Secretary), Department of Textiles; Mr. Md. Anwarul Alam, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Industries; Mr. Md. Mahbubul Alam, President, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Faruque Hassan, President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGMEA); and Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA), were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

I would like to talk about Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertiliser Limited. We are one of the most integrated players of dyes and chemicals from India. Our operations span from handling basic raw materials such as sulfuric acid, Oleum, and Chlorosulfonic acid to producing reactive dyes.

We are thrilled to be back in Bangladesh, which is a key market for us. Over the past five years, we have consistently served this market and witnessed continuous growth. Undoubtedly, the past year and a half has brought some challenges, causing a slowdown in this market. However, we are optimistic about the resurgence we are witnessing. The economy is gradually returning to action, which is one of the primary reasons for our presence here today.

Our objective is to foster strong partnerships with our valued customers in Bangladesh. We are committed to sustained growth in this market, aiming to reach more customers through various channels. Our company promotes textile finishing chemicals, such as silicon softeners, finishing agents, silicon surfactants, etc. In this expo, we are going to present another product for rubbing. As the textile chemicals market is very demanding in Bangladesh, we are hoping to make strong collaboration with the customers.

Alex Cai, International Sales Regional Manager, Zhejiang Runhe Chemical New Material Co., Ltd: We are glad to join this expo as a promoter of the Chinese Runhe chemical company. We are working on different textile chemicals, dye auxiliaries, silicon oil, fixing agents, finishing agents, and detergents.
