The newly-elected office bearers of Association of Textile Engineers & Technologists (ATET) Bangladesh have received charges from the outgoing committee on 21 September 2018 through a Charge Handover & Takeover Ceremony at the Sea Shell Hotel & Party Palace in the Capital. ATET 2nd council outgoing President Rathin Chaki, handed over the charge to new ATET 3rd council president Engr. Md. Aminul Islam.
After taking charge, 31 newly elected executive committee members taking Oath for next 2 years. Earlier on 10 August, 2018, 31 elected Executive Committee (EC) members of 3rd Council of the full panel has been elected uncontested.
Speakers of the ceremony expressed their hope to the present committee of ATET that they would play a great role enhancing country’s economy as well textile engineers’ community. On the occasion, Chief Election Commissioner Mr. Awlad Hossain Tuhin presiding over on the ceremony while a lot of life members, founding members, advisors, former executive committee members were present.
