As part of this joint CSR initiative, B&C Grocery Basket with AMC – Full of Thanks!, each worker at SP Group received a complimentary grocery basket filled with essential items including rice, lentils, oil, and flour. This initiative is a testament to the commitment of both organisations to support workers, especially during challenging times.

The collaboration between AMC Knit Composite Ltd. and The Cotton Group underscores their shared values of caring for the workforce and the community at large. By providing these essential groceries, they aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by workers and their families.

During the distribution programme, Mr. Shubal Chandra Saha, Managing Director of SP Group, and Ms. Murielle Degeest, Managing Director of The Cotton Group, were present to personally oversee the distribution and express their gratitude to the workers for their hard work and dedication.

According to Mr. Saha (AMC Knit Composite Ltd.) “It’s a great opportunity for AMC to participate in this initiative to show appreciation to our workers. I am happy to be a part of this initiative alongside B&C. I hope our partnership will continue and we can work together to support our workers in the future.”

According to Murielle Degeest (The Cotton Group) “We’re happy to have this opportunity to say thank you to the people who work hard every day to make our clothes. We’re committed to supporting workers and their families whenever we can, and this has been a great way to actively engage with everyone”

In addition to this initiative, The Cotton Group has a history of collaborating with its suppliers to provide discounts on basic commodities through fair price shops, further demonstrating their commitment to supporting worker well being.

This collaborative effort between AMC Knit Composite Ltd. and The Cotton Group highlights the power of corporate partnerships in making a positive impact. By working together, they have not only provided essential support to workers but also set an inspiring example for other organisations to follow.
