Sudden boiler explosion caused death of least eight people and injury of 35 others injured at a garment factory in Gazipur on 03rd July evening. Number of death may increase for the time being. Serious injured patients are shifted to burn unit of Dhaka Medical.
According to Aktaruzzaman, assistant director of Gazipur fire service and civil defence, “A boiler of Multifabs Ltd in Nayapara area blasted around 7:30pm with a big bang, leaving at least five people dead and 35 others injured. The ground and first floors of the four-story building partially collapsed due to the impact of the blast.
