BTMA President Mohammad Ali Khokon handed over the cheque of financial donation and 6,000 blankets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban in Dhaka, said PM’s deputy press secretary K M Shakhawat Moon.

The Prime Minister expressed her gratitude for BTMA’s compassionate initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the needs of the less fortunate during challenging times. The donated funds will contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund in providing essential support to those affected by various adversities, including the current cold wave.

This act of generosity by the BTMA reflects the dedication of the business community to contributing positively to societal welfare. Such initiatives not only provide immediate relief but also showcase the private sector’s commitment to playing a role in the broader development and well-being of the community.
