CV Writing Workshop at SARSTEC

A workshop on CV writing was taken place on 27th January 2019, at Shahid Abdur Rab Serniabat Textile Engineering College, organized by SARSTEC Career Club (SCC). Assistant Prof of SARSTEC & Chief Advisor of SCC, Engr Nayon Chandra Ghosh was the Chief Guest of the program. Besides, Lecturer Engr Zahid Murad Shuva, who is also the moderator of SCC, was the key-note presenter of the program. Md Abu Ubayda, joint course coordinator of Barishal University IT Society, was the trainer of the program.

Announcing the opening of the “CV Writing Workshop” Assistant Prof Engr Nayon Chandra Ghosh shared a memory from his personal life and mentioned “Photograph matters a lot, for your CV. Proper dress code should be maintained”. Giving further instructions about CV writing, keynote speaker Lecturer Engr Md. Zahid Murad Shuva said, “As you are leading the international marketing site, you all should have a world-class level CV ” He added that, “Your CV is the first impression for any interview. It may matter what you are, but it matters the most how your CV represents you.”

Later the trainer showed the students how to write a CV using MS Word & Powers Point Presentation. All the students, who completed the free registration procedure & joined the workshop, were highly gladsome to get the chance of knowing some unknown facts about CV writing. Finally the President of SARSTEC Career Club, Md. Nabil Chowdhury declared a contest for CV writing among the participating students. Top 03 winners of the CV writing contest received one year free subscription of renowned international English textile magazine “Textile Focus”.
