Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh based one of the largest multinational apparel sourcing hubs, Dongyi Sourcing Ltd. celebrates It’s 3rd Anniversary on 13 January at Le Meridien hotel in the capital.Around 500 apparel industry professionals ,DSl family ,business partners ,media were present at the anniversary program.

Last fiscal year Bangladesh apparel export was worth 42 billion, said BGMEA President, Faruque Hassan. Still Bangladesh dominate in Denim on EU & USA market and Bangladesh now the global player of LEED certified green factory in the world, added Mr.Faruque.

BGMEA set a target of 100 billion export by 2030 and I hope Dongyi Sourcing will source more from Bangladesh and will contribute to the country’s RMG sector, also said Faruque Hassan.

We have a dynamic, talented, and well-experienced team working with us and a great office structure, including fabric sourcing, garment technology & compliance. DSL business was 6 million but last year DSL did 39 million business from Bangladesh, Mr.Pavel added.

We have 28 business partners and our product range is increasing, said Mr. Pavel. Our vision is to contribute to Bangladesh by exporting $100 million business through Dongyi Sourcing Ltd within 2025. We are working on diversification of exported counties and products to achieve our goal.

On the anniversary program Dongyi sourcing rewarded their suppliers with a knit & woven category. Quattro Fashion Ltd and Vision composite ltd, Sepal Garments wins Emerging new business partner award 2022, JL Fashion Ltd, Echotex Ltd achieves Silver Award, Fariha Knit Tex and Shans Attiture Ltd achieves Gold award, Apparel 21 and The Rose Dresses Ltd achieves Platinum award2022.

Dongyi sourcing cooperated with famous international buyers such as NEXT (UK), Cencosud (Chile), Crew clothing (UK), ASOS (UK), Biedronka (Poland), MLSE (Canada), Tequila Tromba (Canada), Six Label (Canada), Jeaniologie – Wal-mart (Canada) and many more.
