The annual picnic named ‘ESATTI Family Fest 2020’ of the Ex-Students’ Association of Tangail Textile Institute (ESATTI) was held on 21 February, 2020. The Executive Committee of 9th Council (2018-2020) organized the event at Nuhash Polli in Gazipur.
Former Director of Department of Textiles Engr. Md. Mufazzal Hossain was present as Chief Guest while Former Principal in Charge of Tangail Textile Institute Engr. AKM Faridul Azad, Former Departmental Head of Fabric Manufacturing Department Engr. Momtaz Uddin Ahammed were present as special guest. ESATTI Past President Forum Chairman & General Manager of Permess South East Asia Ltd Engr. Md. Golam Kibria Ripon, President of ATET & Former President of ESATTI Engr. Md. Aminul Islam, Former President of ESATTI & General Manager of Knit Plus Ltd Engr. Moyazzam Sarker; Founder President of ESATTI Engr. Md. Arifur Rahman Siddique, President of ESATTI Engr. Md. Mahbub Mredha Shohagh, Secretary General of ESATTI Engr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman and other existing & former executive committee members and many other prominent textile engineers & their family members and students were also present at the occasion. Male, Female and Children took part in different kinds of sports of the event. After lunch organizing committee arranged a short discussion program, raffle draw and cultural program on the occasion. ESATTI is the first Textile Diploma based alumni organization of Bangladesh, founded by Md. Arifur Rahman Siddique. ESATTI began its journey on December 26, 2008. Textile Focus was the official media partner while Denim Solution Ltd was delighting partner of the event.
