Ha-Meem Denim Ltd sister concern of Ha-Meem Group has been awarded the National Export Trophy (Gold) and Certificate, in recognition of its contribution to the export trade.
This prestigious trophy was awarded in consideration of the highest export earnings for the fiscal year 2020-2021 in the oven category of the apparel sector.
Ha-Meem Group Director, Mr. Sajid Azad received the trophy at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday (8 November).
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi presented the trophy as the chief guest at the National Export Trophy 2020-2021 award ceremony organized by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam was present as a special guest and Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce presided over the event.
Ha-Meem Denim one of the largest denim manufacturing companies in Bangladesh, which was established in 2004, currently has a capacity of approx. 60 lac yards per month with an in-house spinning production of up to 1200 Tons per month, it has an end-to-end process from spinning to finished denim fabrics with modernization and state of art while becoming a complete vertical setup.
