Huntsman & Swiss Colours Bangladesh organized seminar on “Sustainable Growth and Innovation in the Textile Industry”

Huntsman Textile Effects with its local agent Swiss Colour Bangladesh Ltd. jointly organized a seminar on “Sustainable Growth and Innovation in the Textile Industry” in Dhaka recently. Managing Director of Swiss Colours Bangladesh Mr. Akther Hossain welcomed all textile professionals in the seminar. He mentioned the remarkable developments done by Huntsman throughout the years. Swiss Colours Bangladesh have been working with Huntsman for the very beginning and the team is quite big now. As Bangladesh textile market is expanding and heading to value added products Mr. Akther hoped to provide more innovative service with proper solutions to the industry.

He also mentioned that day by day their team is expanding to provide the game changing products which will help the industry for sustainable growth.

He mentioned how Huntsman is playing the vital role in sustainable growth and innovation in the textile industry. “Huntsman considering Bangladesh as a very important market and the team of Huntsman is expanding gradually, now we have 125 man force along with two offices in Dhaka and Chittagong”, he mentioned.

Mr. Hasanat expressed his satisfaction of using Huntsman products. Speaking on the occasion Mr. David Hasanat said, “Viyellatex Group is the leading company in the area of sustainable apparel in Bangladesh. This continuing support and technical expertise from Huntsman will help us be more competitive in this increasingly challenging market. It will help us to comply with the stringent product demands from our global customers and better equip us to face challenges from the operational and environmental aspects.”

Holger Schlaefke, Global Marketing Manager, Huntsman Corporation had a presentation on AVITERA® SE, TERASIL® W/WW, Digital Inks and Oliver Gerlach, Global Marketing Manager, Huntsman Corporation had a presentation on Creating Differentiation with Specialty Finishes. screenshot-21In their presentations they highlighted the features of AVITERA® SE, TERASIL® W/WW, Digital Inks; how much the products are important for textile processing. They showed their real experience how using AVITERA® SE  series and TERASIL® W/WW dyestuffs can save  40% time, 50% water, 50% electricity. Using AVITERA® SE dyes is therefore a way for mills to meet the environmental standards of the world’s best clothing brands while increasing yield, improving productivity and reducing processing costs. The dyes can be used on diverse machinery and do not require mills to make a capital investment. They also offer excellent fastness and consistency across the entire shade gamut and color spectrum. As a global leader Huntsman dyes and chemicals have been serving the industry by complying all latest industry regulations namely ZDHC MRSL, Bluesign, GOTS, REACH etc.

Textile professionals from different industries joined the seminar. The audience were glad to hear the latest developments of Huntsman Textile Effects. Also the clients who are using Huntsman products for a long time expressed their satisfaction about the Huntsman products. The question and answer session was very interactive as so many queries and questions were asked from the guests. Huntsman team explained all the queries and answered all the questions as per the query. Huntsman along with Swiss Colours Bangladesh organizes different seminar, workshops, training for skill developments and clients requirements.
