To support the industry’s growth, we’ve expanded both chemical and physical footwear testing capabilities to include abrasion resistance of outsoles, upper sole adhesion and heel attachment, to name a few.”

Intertek Turkey’s new testing capabilities include the addition of a range of chemical tests for textiles, apparel and footwear to help manufacturers identify and manage restricted substances like acrylamide, dimethylformamide (DMFa), isocyanate, short chain chlorinated paraffin, organotin compounds, disperse and carcinogenic dyestuff and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
