Universal Yarn Dyeing Ltd. organized Partners Evening 2017 at Dhaka Regency Hotel. Engr. Md. Shamsuzzaman CIP, Director, BKMEA & Managing Director of Micro Fibre Group was present as chief guest while Engr. Shafiqur Rahman, President of ITET & Managing Director, Hams Group and Engr. Md. Mozaffar Hossain former president of ITET & Managing Director, SIM Group was present as the special guest. The event was presided by A.L.M. Ziaul Haque, Managing Director of Universal Yarn Dyeing Ltd.
Chief Guest Engr. Md. Shamsuzzaman CIP said that, “We need to design and develop dyeing process to use CVC fabric, DOP dyeing, Cots sewing thread to reduce cost. China has developed DOP dyeing process. As an entrepreneur, we need to help small entrepreneurs to develop their business.” Engr. Shafiqur Rahman, President of ITET, emphasized on bringing up some Textile Engineer Entrepreneurs for their contribution of RMG sector. He appreciated entrepreneurs of textile engineering background. “We will go to manmade fiber from cotton to sustain our RMG sector”, he added. Engr. Shafiq requested all to work together to make Bangladesh a middle-income country by 2021.
Engr. Abdus Sobhan, Managing Director, Oeko-Tex Limited, said that management expansion is very important for industrial development. He said “We are doing expansion only in terms of order and volume, but we are not thinking about expansion of management to make a team”. S.M Zubair Bin Zia Rupab, Director (operations) of Universal yarn Dyeing Ltd, presented a corporate presentation about their company where he said the company was established in 2014 and now it has seven sister concerns. It has production capacity of 8 tons per day. They can dye all kinds of cotton, viscose, poly cotton, CVC, Polyester, all kinds of sewing Thread. Engr. A.L.M Ziaul Hoque thanked everyone for their presence at the event.
