Prominent industrialist and social activist, Mr. Salauddin Chowdhury, Chairman of AC Industrial Group and Director of DBC News, along with Mrs. Maksuda Chowdhury Misha, Managing Director of Stylish Garments Limited and Operational Director of the Bangladesh-Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry, paid a courtesy call on the Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh, His Excellency Leo Tito L. Ausan, Jr.

The meeting, held at the Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, was also attended by Mr. Shajibul Alam Rajiv, Chairman of the FBCCI Youth Entrepreneurship Standing Committee. During the discussions, the parties explored future trade potentials and several bilateral issues between Bangladesh and the Philippines.

Ambassador Ausan commended the significant development strides made by Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In a gesture of goodwill, he presented his book, titled ‘Sleepless in Dhaka,’ inspired by Bangladesh and the legacy of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, to the visiting guests.

The meeting highlighted the growing relationship between the two nations, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic ties and fostering collaboration in various sectors.
