As part of continuous development activities Textile Focus recently organized a technical seminar on Spinning Technology at the National Institute of Textile Engineering & Research (NITER). Professor Dr. Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, Principle, of NITER was present as chief guest at the seminar. Engr. Mamun Ur Rashid, Executive Director, Texco Tech who has a long experience in the spinning sector was the seminar speaker. Engr. Mamun Ur Rashid started his presentation by addressing the prospect of the spinning sector. In his presentation, he described the different latest spinning technology with a real track record. Students from 1st year to the final year were eagerly listening to his presentation. Professor Dr. Mohammed Mizanur Rahman thanked Textile Focus for organizing such a knowledge-sharing seminar at NITER. He said, “We encourage such events at our campus as the students can learn recent technologies from seminars. I hope Textile Focus will organize seminars on different topics at NITER in future.”
Maeen Md. Khairul Akter, Lecturer, NITER & Managing Editor, Textile Focus initiated the seminar and the importance of the seminar. M A Islam Riyadh, Editor, of Textile Focus mentioned that Textile Focus is moving ahead with development activities for the betterment of the industry. In the future Textile Focus will conduct such events on different campuses for the betterment of the students.
