Textile Engineers Society’s initiative “Textile Youth Carnival 2.3 were held on 03 February at Seminar Hall, IEB, Ramna, Dhaka. More than 25 textile universities and institute students participated in the ‘Textile Youth Carnival 2.3.
Mohammad Ali Khokon, President of the BTMA, was present as a chief guest.
Special guests were present: Abdullah Al Mamun, Vice President of BTMA; Abrar Alam Khan, Director of Operations, Asrotex Group; Shafiur Rahman, Country Manager, G-Star Raw; Abdul Hakim, CMO, Hoorain Hi-Tech Fabrics Ltd. (Jamuna Group); Kayes Kawsar, GM-HR & Admin, Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Ltd. (Noman Group); Shawkat Hossain Sohel, Advisor; TES Chief Designer, Unifill Composite Dyeing Ltd. The program was presided over by Md. Rifatur Rahman Miazee, founder of the Textile Engineers Society and the Event Convener was Md. Morshaed Ali, COO, Textile Engineers Society.
The event occurred with the nearby 200 students from the country’s top textile institutes. The event was organized with a focus on a variety of educational activities, sports, exhibitions, and showcasing new ideas, including sharing work experiences, exchanging knowledge, learning outcomes and networking.
Textile Engineers Society is a learning platform that organizes various training, grooming, seminars, and workshops for textile students.
Textile Focus was the magazine partner for Textile Youth Carnival 2.3.
At the event, a cultural fashion program was conducted throughout the day in which recitation of poems, songs, and dances were notable. Certificates and awards are distributed among all those present at the event, The last Textile Youth Carnival 2.2 on 24 December 2022 at a hotel in Savar, Dhaka.
