Textile Xperts holds day long career training at Government College of Applied Human Science

To empower the women Textile Xperts Organizes a day-long career development training session at the Azimpur campus of Home Economics in collaboration with Textile Youth Club. The event starts with a recitation from the Holy Quran and the National anthem.

Inaugurating the event, Professor Soniya Begum, Principal of the Government College of Applied Human Science, said, “Skill development programs are highly necessary for university students.” In the ceremony were present Vice Principal Professor Sultana Begum, Assistant Professor Sanjida Huq, Teacher Advisor, Textile Youth Club & faculty members.

At the training sessions on two different topics were conducted for the youth’s skills development and to provide them with details about the RMG and the textile sector, alongside a networking opportunity with the corporate leaders, scope, and job opportunities specially for the women.
Merchandising manager Imam Mehedi Hossain conducted the training on “Merchandising Scope, opportunities and preparation flow chart”.
Ahamed Sorowar, manager of merchandising from a multination buying office presents “Women Empowerment & Future Opportunities in RMG & Textile”

Munir Hasan, Coordinator, Youth Program, Prothom alo presents at the event as Chief Guest. He said women has the bigger career opportunity in RMG & Textile. Bangladesh earns 86% of its exports from this sector and it’s still a booking sector for Bangladesh’s economy. He also added, select the brand or manufacturer where you are looking for an opportunity and show your capability to explore your career.
