United 22, the platform of Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), Batch 22 became the champion of The Institution of Textile Engineers & Technologists (ITET) football tournament, 2017. To celebrate the championship they organized “Celebration Night for United- 22 Football Team” on 02nd February 2018 at Uttara Club, Dhaka. Prof. Engr. Md. Mashud Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, BUTEX was presents as chief guest while Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, President, ITET; Engr. Mohammad Salim Reza, Senior Vice President, ITET; Engr Md. Shakhawat Hossain Talukder, Secretary General, ITET; Engr. Shamim Rahman, Vice President, ITET and senior textile engineers, were present at the gala night. United 22 Football captain Engr. Arif Ahmed and Manager, Engr. Md. Majaharul Islam (Sumon) and all the players of the Champion United 22 team were present at the event. United 22 is the open space for BUTEX 22 batch and it organized different events on different occasions and also work for the betterment of its members as well as the industry. Engr. Mohammad Salim Reza is the President and Engr. Saiful Islam Khan is the Secretory General of United 22. Engr. Salim Reza congratulated the team for their glorious victory.
