Walmart Labs has unveiled the latest corporate brand, Walmart Global Tech, the technology arm of the US retail giant. Subsequently, Walmart Global Tech India is now recognized as an Indian company.
The key aim behind the move is to harness the brand’s momentum as a human-led, technologically-enhancing innovator that has a positive effect on the lives of millions of workers and hundreds of millions of clients worldwide. The launch of the new global identity of Walmart Labs takes place at a time when Flipkart, an e-commerce company, was recently strengthened by the acquisition of Walmart India, which operates the cash / carry business at the Best Priced.
Walmart Global Tech provides a team of over 14,000 Walmart software developers, data scientists and service specialists to build and enhance customer retention and mobilization of 2,2 million employees. His teams at Walmart Labs India use technology to provide the retailer with leading innovations. Such technologies help to provide a seamless service to 275,000,000 customers a week, 11,300 stores under 58 banners in 27 countries and websites for e-commerce in ten countries. The teams are creating new technologies to describe the Walmart experience worldwide-from stone and mortar stores to online applications.
