Bangladesh-based one of the largest apparel manufacturers and exporters Pakiza Group launched its new venture Pakiza Software Ltd on 20 September 2023 at the PSL office in the Capital. From its initiation, Pakiza Software Ltd focused on a disciplined and structured form of company which will lead to keeping the reputation upcurve. With the vision to create a sustainable, profitable textile and RMG industry their focus is on technological upgradation, and flexible customizable options within a very short time by experienced professionals only to avoid the dissatisfaction of strategic partners with service and support which is the most common feature in the industry nowadays.

In 1986, Pakiza Group started its journey by stepping into the local market with different kinds of local textile products and secured the first position in the market. After that, in 1997, we first entered the export market by spinning and respectively created the backward linkage in the textile supply chain. After all these processes, Pakiza Group began to manufacture Knit RMG products by setting up the Pakiza Knit Composite Factory in 2013.

While managing the factory, to reduce the manpower and excessive cost, we started software development with 2 employees and that’s the beginning of Pakiza Software Ltd. The main idea that worked behind this journey was the future of the textile industry of Bangladesh. We predicted that there would be a lot of challenges in the future when Bangladeshi manufacturers would need to use automation to reduce costs and improve efficiency. It has taken a couple of years to establish the software completely and this automation software is truly effective in reducing costs and improving quality and efficiency. Now this software company has been established to help the RMG manufacturer in Bangladesh. In September 2023, we launched Pakiza software in the market after working on it for almost 10 years. In the company, there are more than 80 people providing customer care service, implementation, customization, development, etc. We are happy to share that we are getting positive responses in the market. Along with manufacturing software, we are working on VAT management software so that we can contribute to the economy.

Pakiza group is getting well response from the buyers in all the sectors and all credits go to our team. We have efficient and active team members who are dedicated to their work and continuously contributing to the company. They work considering their job as contributing to the national economy and they enjoy the challenges to get responses from foreign buyers. Besides, we are also getting orders from international companies. Now, we are working on small orders, but we have plans for widening our work zone and establishing our software company as an international brand. We hope that we will be able to keep our success moving in 2024 also with this amazing team.
