According to the Pakistan Statistics Bureau, the country’s RMG exports rose 4.6 percent

pakistan-texAccording to the Pakistan Statistics Bureau, the country’s RMG exports rose 4.6 percent in the first four months, compared to last year’s corresponding exports. From July-October 2020-21, Pakistan exported approximately 947,419 million dollars in ready-made clothes compared with 20,850,000 dollars worth 905,243 million dollars exported during the same period last year. Over the reporting period, knitwear exports rose by 12.30 percent to 24.425 billion dollars worth 1,183 billion dollars over the same period last year as opposed to 40.837 thousand dollars worth 1,053 billion dollars over the same period.

Approximately 149,937 metric tons of bed wear costing $899,558 million compared with the export of $818,129 million in the same timeframe of last year, is shipped during a period of the first four months of the current financial year. It also received 195,662 million dollars in exports of other textile goods compared with 126,810 million dollars obtained over the same time last year. In the last four months of the current fiscal year, exports of other textile materials rose by 54,30 percent compared to exports for the same duration last year.
