Desk Report: Election schedule 2023 has to be announced in the presence of ATET executive council members and lifetime members held at its office in Uttara. Association of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ATET) election schedule announcement was held. The schedule was announced by ATET Election Commissioner Engineer Md. Arifuzzaman and Engineer Md. Saleh Ahmed Labu Mia along with Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid. In the event, along with the schedule, he also revealed the code of conduct of the candidates along with the payment of nomination fee.
1st Councilor to 4th Councilor Executive Council members, Advisory Council and Life Members were present in the schedule announcement ceremony. Note that currently the number of life members in ATET is 1613.
ATET is a completely non-political organization, so Election Commissioner Eng. Md. Saleh Ahmad Loblu appealed to everyone not to spread any kind of political influence in the election. Meanwhile, as the election day is approaching, the joy of the members of the organization is increasing, said Engineer Ariful Islam, Principal of AIFT.
Nomination papers can be withdrawn and submitted by the candidate or his representative from 11th March 2023 to 19th March 2023 (every day from 6 pm to 9 am). Election campaign will start from 25th March 2023 which will end till 9th May 2023. And the desired poll will be held on 12th May 2023.
Earlier, the Chief Election Commissioner published the updated voter list on 7th March 2023 through an official notification with his signature.
The meeting was chaired by ATET Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid and this information was informed in a press release signed by the Election Commissioner. In the press release, he sought everyone’s full cooperation for a fair election. Reports by Lalon Mehdi.
