BD Merchandiser Hub celebrates its 5th Anniversary

Bangladesh Merchandiser Hub celebrates its 5th anniversary on September 29 at Hotel Pan de Asia, Uttara in the capital. More than 200 apparel merchandisers gathered at the anniversary.

Md. Shahidullah Azim, Vice President of BGMEA was present as a chief guest Mohammad Kamal Uddin, Managing Director of Torque Group, Mr. Emdadul Haque Miazi, General Secretary of BGEA were present as special guests.

Sayeed Mahmud Sabbir Senior Merchandiser of Showroom 79 and Founding president of BMH presided over the function. The get-together begins an open discussion for the well-being of merchandisers and the mid-level community of Bangladesh’s apparel sector. It has already been 50 years matured the apparel sector matured but still, there are no remarkable facilities visible for the employees. Merchandising is a prestigious and hard-working job but there is no life security promised by the organizations.

BMH’s vision is to assist Merchandisers in becoming informed, responsible, creative, and critical communicators and enhance Merchandising knowledge and skill in the construction, interpretation, and distribution of communication in diverse cultural and global communities.

The organization started its activities with the confidence of Bangladesh’s garment industry’s merchandisers. The door of membership of BMH is open for all the merchandisers in Bangladesh.
