Fashion Power Group CEO Md. Mijanur Rahman Named CIP by Government

In a notable recognition of his contributions to the export sector, Md. Mijanur Rahman, the Managing Director and CEO of Fashion Power Group, has been appointed as a Commercially Important Person (CIP) by the government. This prestigious acknowledgement comes as part of the government’s announcement of 140 businesses designated as commercially important persons for their substantial role in bolstering the country’s economy.

The announcement, made on Wednesday, highlights Rahman’s pivotal role in elevating the nation’s economic landscape through the establishment of industries, employment generation, and augmentation of national income in 2022. As per the notification, each nominated CIP will be granted a CIP card entitling them to various privileges. These include priority seat reservation across government transportation networks encompassing air, road, rail, and waterways. Additionally, CIPs will receive invitations to national events and a letter of introduction from the foreign ministry to facilitate visa acquisition for international travel. Moreover, CIP cardholders will enjoy access to the VIP lounge-2 at airports.
