Solaric Group successfully concludes 3 days BIID Expo and Dialogue 2024

SOLARIC, the leading provider of solar energy solutions & the proud producer of the world’s largest rooftop solar power plant( KEPZ, CTG) of 50MWp capacity recently participated in the 3-day (9-11) May BIID Expo at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.

At 1st Day BIID Exhibition & Dialogue at BIIC in Dhaka. Mr. Farhad Hossain, MP, the Honorable Minister of State for Public. The administration visited the Solaric Booth at the BIID Expo. Engr. Naznin Akther, Director, Solaric, Mr. Jyoti Shahrier-Head of Sales, Foysal Hossen, Brand Manager & High official, Solaric were present.

Director of Solaric Group Engineer Naznin Akther said they received a good number of visitors including industrialists and academicians.

“As we are serving the solution of renewable energy like solar panels, many industrialists, particularly from readymade garments (RMG), textile, plastic, ceramic and steel sectors, visited our stall.

They actually looked for quality products and services. Such an expo is the best platform to choose better things,” she said.

Naznin added the renewable energy sector has very potential in Bangladesh because of land scarcity and sustainable solutions.

“Initiative and monitoring from the government is very important. The renewable energy issue should be given proper importance in the textbooks to educate our young generation,” she said, adding, “Otherwise, we would not be able to make progress in the sector and we won’t get skilled people. There may be worse situations in future due to lack of technicians.”

She explained that her company has already completed a total of 21 projects. “Most of this was rooftop solar solutions in industries of Dhaka, Savar, Gazipur and Narsingdi areas.”

Naznin said, “Less than 5% of industries use renewable energy now. There is a huge scope to increase the use of rooftop renewable energy in different industries. Now, we need to drive sustainable growth and development through groundbreaking rooftop solar plant initiatives.”
