TECN Tops APA Rankings: Recognized as Best College Under Directory of Textile (DOT)

Textile Engineering College Noakhali (TECN) has emerged as a beacon of excellence, securing top honors across multiple prestigious categories, setting a new benchmark for educational and innovative prowess in Bangladesh.

The TECN secured the coveted first place in the following categories:

  • Best Textile Engineering College among all government institutions under the Department of Textiles (DoT).
  • Best Educational Institute through the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) system.
  • Best Innovative Idea and Innovation Project across all textile institutes and colleges under DoT. Notably, this project, titled “Improved Fire Automation System,” also clinched the top spot at the Ministry of Textile and Jute’s Innovation Competition, surpassing projects from various departments.

In a sweeping victory, TECN has been recognized as the Best Textile Engineering College among all government textile engineering institutions under the Department of Textiles (DOT) in Bangladesh. This accolade highlights TECN’s commitment to providing superior education and fostering an environment that nurtures future leaders in the textile industry.

Further solidifying its reputation, TECN has also been awarded the title of Best Educational Institute through the Annual Performance Agreement (APA), a testament to the institution’s unwavering dedication to achieving and maintaining high-performance standards.

In the realm of innovation, TECN’s groundbreaking project, “Improved Fire Automation System,” has garnered the Best Innovative Idea and Innovation Project award among all textile institutes and colleges under the DOT. This pioneering project also clinched the Best Project Award at the Ministry of Textile and Jute, underscoring TECN’s role as a leader in cutting-edge research and development. The project’s next milestone is to compete among all ministries under the Cabinet Ministry, promising further recognition on a national scale.

The award ceremony saw esteemed dignitaries, including the Honorable Secretary of Textile and Jute Ministry, Mr. Md. Abdur Rauf, and the Honorable Director General of the Directorate of Textiles, Mr. Md. Nuruzzaman, acknowledging TECN’s remarkable achievements.

Expressing his elation, a TECN representative extended heartfelt congratulations to all students, teachers, and colleagues. He also conveyed profound gratitude to the APA team for their relentless effort and timely accomplishments. Special thanks were directed towards the honorable secretary, director general, and other DOT officials for their pivotal role in recognizing TECN’s excellence across diverse categories.
