BUFT renewed International Academic Collaboration with NIFT, India and signed New MoU with NCFT, Nepal

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024 BUFT renewed International Academic Collaboration agreement with renowned Fashion Institute NIFT, India which is ranked no 1 in India. It was signed by Honourable Chairman, BOT Mr. Md. Shafiul Islam and Ms.Tanu Kashyap, IAS on behalf of both parties.

The programme was organised by the Ministry of Textiles, India in the Bharat tex 2024 mega global event, one of the largest international Textile show. BGMEA President and founder member, BOT, BUFT Mr. Faruque Hassan, Mrs. Hassan, Pro VC BUFT Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan,Textile entrepreneurs, and academicians witnessed the signing ceremony. In the closing session of MoU programme, Textile Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India, Ms. Rachna Shah was present as Chief Guest.

BUFT and NIFT MoU was 1st signed by our former Founder Chairman Mr. Mozaffar U Siddique and DG NIFT in September 6, 2011 in Dhaka in presence of the honourable Prime Minister, PR Bangladesh Sheikh. Hasina and past Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh.

Later at the end another new academic collaboration agreement was signed with Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT). Nepal.
