Ex- Students Association of Tangail Textile Institute (ESATTI) started its journey 14 years back and stepped in 15 years. In this connection, organized a Grand Reunion and Family Fest event at Greentech Resort & Convention Center in Gazipur on March 17, 2023.
The day-long event started with Reunion Polo-Shirt distribution and group photo session as well as various sports activities.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ESATTI and ESATTI TRUST was held after Jumma prayer and lunch break. A good number of Life Members, Founding Members and Past President Forum Members, Advisory Committee Members were present in the AGM. ESATTI Central Executive Committee (2020-2022) President Engr. Raju Ahammed was presided over the AGM while Secretary General Engr. Shohag Chandra Sen and Treasurer Engr. Mofazzel presented the Secretary Report and Treasurer Report respectively. The event was attended by Engr. Md. Arifur Rahman Siddique who is Founder President and existing President of ESATTI Trust. In AGM, the new committee members for the term 2022-2024 were announced. Engr. Shamim Akand was selected as the President, Engr. Maydul Islam Robi was elected as Secretary General & Engr. Sanjay Saha Deepta was selected as Organizing Secretary based on presented everyone’s opinion.
After AGM another formal session was held which session was graced by Special Guest Engr. Aminul Islam, President of Association of Textile Engineers & Technologists (ATET) & Engr. Shohel Rana, Secretary General of ATET. The Chief Guest Md. Nuruzzaman, Director General (Additional Secretary) of Ministry of Textiles & Jute was absent due to unavoidable circumstances. In addition, Asst. Prof. of Bangabandhu Textile Engineering College Mr.Md. Mostafizur Rahman was present as Honorable Guest while event Convenor & P.P.FORUM Chairman Engr. Md. Golam Kibria Ripon, Founder President of ESATTI Engr. Md. Arifur Rahman Siddique, Chief Advisor Engr. Nazmul Ahsan was present on the dais.
The event provided a chance for alumni to reconnect with their peers, teachers, and mentors. Finally, the event drew to a close with an attractive raffle draw in the evening.
